CYBERSEC IS A PROCESS.
A continuous process that works by successive refinements and adapts to the natural evolution of the information system over time.
The process involves multiple fronts and, in an ideal world, starts with the design of the information system itself.
It is now well known that by starting to design the information system by involving cybersec from the beginning, better results are achieved at a considerably lower cost.
The cybersecurity process is then always a trade-off, in the sense that one must balance the time and money required to put it in place and manage it, the magnitude of the threats, the availability and of the data, and the value of the information to be protected.
All of this means that the team dealing with security will have to cut across all business units of the company, and the process will necessarily have to be unique to each individual customer.
