REMOTE BACKUP
Remote Backup is a centralized, secure and automated service that creates intelligent backup of critical servers and clients in dedicated storage at BE.iT Data Centers.
Remote Backup services operate on a 24/7 basis so that data can be accessed whenever the Client needs it.
All operations are constantly monitored in order to be sure that each backup is successfully completed.
The Customer may choose, if necessary, to carry out data restoration completely independently or to take advice from our specialized Help Desk service.
The Remote Backup service allows backing up the entire server or portions of it, uses dedicated modules to create a consistent backup of Virtual Machines and Applications such as:
VMware
Hyper-V
Microsoft Exchange Server
Microsoft SQL Server
Oracle Database
Lotus Domino/Notes
MySQL
The technology used by the Remote Backup service allows not only to restore individual files or applications, but also to restore the entire server to new hardware.
Using its Data Centers, BE.iT is also able to perform total server recovery on virtual hardware and run it within its Cloud infrastructure.
This procedure then allows customers who use the Remote Backup service to enjoy Disaster Recovery in a Cloud environment, turning a backup into a Virtual Private Server and allowing access to their data and applications.
